A New Adventure

Im very excited to announce that I will be joining the very talented team at GoPro in December!

Of course this is a bittersweet announcement as leaving Focus Lab was not an easy decision. The past 3 years at Focus Lab have been the best of my professional career. I’ve made some life long friends, learned more then I ever could imagine and had the opportunity work on some amazing projects with equally amazing clients.

So why move on?

I think every designer at some point needs to take a new adventure or go down a different path. I’ve had two constants in my professional career; working remotely and working for clients. Both of which I’ve loved - but at times have also hated. This new chapter will allow me to change both of those, solve different problems and be challenged in new and exciting ways.

This change also allows me to move back to Southern California, which is something my family and I have been looking forward to for awhile. With a new baby on the way being closer to family was a huge factor in making the switch. I hate to leave my family at Focus Lab but for me it’s time to set out on a new adventure.
